From the scene
Dearborn became the story.
On August 18, Jake Lang and supporters came to Dearborn for an event promoted as a “Christian Crusaders March.” Official Bedouin was there documenting what happened from ground level as participants, counter-protesters and residents confronted one another in the street.
The videos below are presented in sequence as a firsthand visual record. Statements made by people in the footage belong to the speakers and are not presented here as independently verified facts.
The video record
Five parts. One afternoon in Dearborn.
Why document it
The camera stays where the story is.
Official Bedouin is not limited to airports and landmarks. Sometimes the most important story is happening at home, on a familiar street, while the rest of the internet argues from a distance.
This field report preserves what the camera captured and lets viewers see the sequence for themselves.
